Uff…What a week! IBTM World rocks!

I have been recently at the IBTM in Barcelona for the 11^th time.  This is a great city and I have many personal and professional friends there, either living in the city or coming for business as me every year. 

For me, it was the most successful edition of this show so far.  I met many interesting people, the quantity and quality of the appointments were excellent, we got a total of 16 new and interesting RFPs for 2016 and 2017, and on top of that I had the opportunity to be a speaker about “Destination Marketing Strategies” at this year’s SITE Seminar pre-IBTM.   
I exhibited together with the Munich Convention Büro and some selected suppliers of Munich and I could reconfirm the ROI even before the show ended!  Mr. Jörg Bauler and his team made a great job giving support to all exhibitors and guests and the quality of the service, catering and the structure were just great! 

Barcelona is not only work, I even had the chance to visit the Disco Opium and enjoyed the breeze of the sea until late.

I want to thank (again!) my team in the office who managed to keep the pace with the many requests and questions I bombarded them from Barcelona.

I look forward to a successful ibtm 2016 and the many new friends I made with my peers of the MICE industry.
