Highlights of 2016
The year 2016 is coming to an end and we want to pass review through the Highlights which made this year memorable for us:
* In the Leisure Department, we had 19 Special Interest groups with an average stay of 6,7 nights, travelling through Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt, Darmstadt, as well as the international destinations of Amsterdam, Zürich, Luzern, Prague, Salzburg and Innsbruck.
* Our upscaled FIT Department received 169 bookings. The services rendered varied from individual transfers, back to the roots tours visiting guests birthplaces, opera and soccer tickets, as well as private visits to museums and castles.
* The River Cruise Department bloomed this year with more than 13 thousand satisfied passengers. We provided regular and emergency ground services in Munich, Bamberg, Nuremberg, Passau, Vilshofen, Basel, Lyon, Strassbourg, Rothenburg, Cologne, Frankfurt and Mainz. We greeted our 5th River Cruise client at the end of the year. Luckily, our clients were not badly affected by extreme situations of high or low water, which gave us a reasonably smooth river cruise season.
Our MICE Department was thrilled to organize several important large, medium and small projects. Among those were:
– Incentive trip for 470 guests from a Spanish insurance Company.
– Incentive trip for 310 guests from a Hong Kong IT Company.
– Accommodation and Transfers for 600 guests during a large building machinery Exhibition.
– Housing Management for a 1800 Pax conference.
– Organizing transportation, networking cocktail and gala dinner for 270 guests from a UK communications company.
– Several meetings for pharma companies with up to 130 European delegates.
Our Company Weichlein Tours + Incentives has just been recently awarded DMC of the Year for Germany by the Luxury Travel Magazine!!!
The experience we gained and the many satisfied clients we had make us extremely proud and thankful to each of you, who as clients, suppliers or freelance staff, family or friends supported us in an incredible year!
